Dr Gaurav Ramayya

Originally from Scotland, Dr Gaurav graduated with his medical degree from The University of Edinburgh in 2012, before making the move to Australia in 2014.

Having spent many years working in emergency departments, and within various specialties in both public and private hospitals, he became a General Practitioner to maintain a diverse scope of practice and have continuity of care with his patients.

Dr Gaurav loves the variety that comes with general practice and is happy to get to know, and care for, the whole family. With his open and friendly demeanour, he finds he works particularly well with children, adolescents, the neurodiverse, and LGBTQI+ individuals.

Specific areas of interest include paediatrics, sexual health, contraception & women’s health, anxiety & trauma disorders, musculoskeletal medicine, endocrinology, dermatology & skin checks, as well as minor procedures.

Outside of work, Gaurav enjoys spending time at home with his horses and the visiting wildlife. He loves to cook, watch any and all sport, and if he gets the chance, will be very happy out on the golf course.
