About Dr Miriam Wellauer

Miriam has worked at Graceville Medical since 2014. Her areas of interest include women’s, children’s and adolescent health. She offers care for women across the lifespan, including IUD (Mirena) insertion, GP Shared Antenatal Care with the Mater Mothers Hospital for pregnancy management, and menopause management.

Miriam also holds a Clinical Diploma in Palliative Medicine, completed at St Vincent’s Private Hospital Brisbane, where she continues to work on the after hours roster. She has a particular interest in improving quality of life for people with a diagnosis of terminal illness, through all stages of their care, as well as caring for and supporting their families.

Miriam juggles her work with raising three young kids, singing in a local choir, trying to reduce her carbon footprint, and tailoring her own clothes.
